INTREPs ‘Taxi’ comprises two distinctly separate modules; linked for the provision of automatic updating from the first to the second. The modules are:
1. ‘Taxi-Day’
2. ‘Taxi-Administration’
‘Taxi-Day’:
Typically, the organisation’s radio operator/director works this module, in response to the ‘on-the-road’ activity of drivers: recording:
Customer identities
Driver identities – Vehicle identities
Pick-up venues
Drop-off venues
Idle time locations
Fares charged
Maintenance facilities are provided to enable ‘Contract Customers’ and ‘Drivers’ to be rapidly pick-posted into a central global list. By viewing and appending/amending this list, the operator is able to quickly determine the whereabouts of all drivers/vehicles during the course of the working day. Subsequently, all working activities are accurately recorded, day-by-day.
‘Taxi-Administrator’:
This module provides for the calculation of weekly payments to 'self-employed' drivers, outputting completely calculated 'Driver Statements' in a fully automatic fashion, according to currently defined maintenance settings appertaining VAT, Commission rate, etc. 'Auto Look-Up' features are incorporated to 'pick-post' previously posted data; thus enabling extremely rapid data entry operations. At the end of each working day or working week, individual runs - cash or contract - are posted into the 'Day Book'; after which, driver statements are produced merely by selecting the appropriate driver and week identities. This facility is intelligent: it differentiates between 'cash' and 'contract' runs.
The following calculations are completed during daily/weekly posting processes:
Driver share value of contract runs
VAT value of all runs
The following calculations are completed during weekly statement production processes:
Commission value
Commission VAT
Car hire value - in response to the quantity of completed shifts
